Pastor Justin is a devoted, humble, altruistic philanthropist and trustworthy servant of God who uplifts the hearts of everyone he encounters. His passion for music and unique ability to articulate his love for God, through the playing of instruments, breaks atmospheres and penetrates the hearts of men and women to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
His ear became inclined to his musical gifting at the age of 3, as he sat under the tutelage of his mother, who is an accomplished pianist. His parents, James and Marilyn Walls, noticed his gifting and bought his first Fraggle Rock drum set to help him start perfecting his gift. By the age of 7, Pastor Justin was playing drums for his childhood church, Union Bethel AME in Brandywine, MD. At the age of 12, Pastor Justin played the drums for Union Bethel’s play entitled Will you be Ready. He was unaware that this play would minister to him in a capacity that would cause him to give his life to Christ that night. His encounter with God that night showed him that he was going to be destined for greatness and make a major impact in the Kingdom of God. Still new in his faith, but committed to the things of God, Pastor Justin served on Union Bethel’s Usher’s Board, Young People’s Department and Music Ministry.
Pastor Justin’s thirst for ministry grew stronger and would only be quenched once he joined In His Image Christian Ministries, in 2001 under the leadership of Bishop Melvin E. Blake, Jr. and Pastor Cheryl D. Blake. While serving under Bishop Blake, Pastor Justin’s spirit-man became awoken and rejuvenated, thus causing his passion to shift from solely music to ministry.
One night, God woke him up out of his sleep and told him to turn from his wicked ways so that he could clearly hear and understand the blueprint for his life. Recognizing that the dream referenced scripture, Pastor Justin did his research and found clarity in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which states “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”. This became his calling scripture. With all certainty, Pastor Justin met with Bishop Blake to share the call upon his life to preach. Bishop Blake responded by telling him that he already knew he was coming. Pastor Justin enrolled in the Minister’s Training Courses and was licensed as a Minister in November of 2005.
As God continued to mold and shape His servant, he would soon be led to New Gibeah Ministries for Christ, under the leadership of Apostle Sherman D. Farmer to fulfill his next ministry assignment. In 2012, he was ordained as an Elder and later became the Pastor of Worship and Arts followed by an elevation to Associate Pastor.
In 2016, Pastor Justin is still continuing to following God’s voice by adhering to God’s voice to start Levitical International Worship Center by age 35. In August 2016, the church was officially incorporated by the State of Maryland.
His pure heart and desire to operate in every gift God has given him has allowed his prophetic gifting to be awakened. Pastor Justin is able to dissect the Word of God and deliver it in a simplistic manner that even those new in the faith can understand and the seasoned can respect and glean from. He has been called, chosen and anointed as a servant of God to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his unique tactics, while living a lifestyle reflective of the role of Christ in his life.
Pastor Justin has been blessed with the love of his life, Pastor Cheronda Walls, who stands with him in ministry. He is an amazing father to their daughter Ja’Nya Walls and their son Justin Walls, Jr. His devotion to God, family and ministry continues to reflect the doctrines and principles of God.
Lady Cheronda S. Walls is a yielded conduit of God’s love and affection for His people. Through the prophetic, intercessory and keen discernment of Lady Walls, God penetrates the heart of the believer with a greater hope; enabling them, with grace, to walk into their deliverance and empowerment.
She is the oldest of four children born to the union of Cliff and Verlean Ford. Having been rooted and grounded in the Word of God, Lady Walls joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at the age of 12. While she was in middle school, Pastor P.F. Chambers held a tent revival that would change the life of Pastor Walls forever. One night before going to the revival, Pastor Walls went into her parents’ bedroom, took her mother’s Holy Oil and anointed her own forehead in the shape of a cross, and confessed Christ to be her personal Lord and Savior. When they got to the Tent Revival, the Spirit of the Lord fell upon her. During the altar call she went up to publicly confess Christ as her Lord and Savior and danced before the Lord like never before.
At the age of 17, Lady Walls decided to transcend socioeconomic barriers by attending Johnson C. Smith University and enrolling in their rigorous five-year Computer Engineering Program. The breadth of what God had in store for her would only begin when she linked up with the Upward Bound mentoring and Campus Ministries programs at her school. God would use her to impart into the lives of students intellectually and spiritually. Her obedience opened doors for her to pray and lay hands upon the disenfranchised, causing them to be inspired. Upon receipt of her B.S., Lady Walls moved to the northern, VA area to work full-time as a Computer Engineer. While working full time, she obtained her Master’s in Computer Engineering at George Mason University.
Under the unction of the Holy Spirit in 2004, Lady Walls joined In His Image Christian Ministries under the tutelage of Bishop Melvin E. Blake, Jr. and Pastor Cheryl D. Blake. Through her nexus of charitable works, Lady Walls severed as an Armor-bearer, Single’s Ministry Liaison, Youth Ministry Liaison, Scholar’s Foundation Liaison, Bible Institute Teacher, and Finance Team Member.
As God continued to etch his will into the heart of Lady Walls, she was led to join New Gibeah Ministries for Christ, Inc. under the dynamic leadership of Chief Apostle Sherman D. Farmer. This is where God’s voice would reverberate and explode in her life, thus provoking her to walk into her fivefold gifting - her destiny. Her passion and devotion to excellence, has made her a prodigious leader of the Administration and Finance ministries.
In 2016, her husband adhered to the voice of God and started Levitical International Worship Center.
Walking in a faith undaunted by the assignment at hand, Pastor Walls strives to deliver spiritual truths that will transform lives. The essence of her calling and statement of purpose, which resonates among people from diverse walks of life, can be found in Luke 4:18-19, which states: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Her philosophy of leadership is servant leadership. She believes that the greatest example of servant leadership is displayed in John 13:12-17 with the command for servant leadership affirmed in for Matthew 20:28 which states: The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28, NKJV). Servant leaders like Lady Walls have a serve-first heart focused on the empowerment and uplifting those she encounters. She serves with humility and Godly power that unlocks the purpose in believers and non-believers.
Lady Walls is the epitome of a virtuous woman, which is exemplified in her devotion to her husband of twelve years, Pastor Justin Walls, and their two children, Ja’Nya Walls and Justin Walls, Jr.
